ATTENTION: SWINE FLU
& Other Vaccines *
What is the swine flu? Where does it come from?
Swine flu is a new strain of the influenza virus. It is believed to be the result of the reassortment of three different influenza viruses, one that is endemic to humans and two that are endemic to pigs. Viral genomes are very simple consisting only of 8 strands, which act like chromosomes during reassembly of the virus. When a single cell is infected by several different strains of influenza viruses, for example, reassortment can occur. Viruses essentially co-mingle, taking several strands of RNA from each parent virus and creating a new strand of influenza with characteristics to each parent virus.
How do I get it?
Although it is called swine flu, it is mostly transmitted through human-to human contact. Although it can be passed by contact with pigs it is unlikely and investigation of infected patients revealed no transmission from pigs or other farm animals. It is passed just as any other flu virus, generally through aerosol contact such as coughing and sneezing.
Also, unlike other illnesses, the swine flu tends to attack healthy younger adults. This is due its effect on the immune system causing the production of too many immune cells. This is known as a Cytokine storm and can cause excess inflammation resulting in high fever, redness and swelling, nausea, and fatigue.
What can I do to prevent it?
We have remedies for all types of viruses (bacterial or fungal) antiviral homeopathics, herbal, botanicals, MMS (Miracle Mineral Solution) as well as viricidal (kills viruses) oxidative therapy including ozone and hydrogen peroxide.
