U-DRIVE on TV
Commencing on Sunday, 18 March 2001, every week at 10:00pm to 10:30pm,
U-DRIVE will be on ATV. This program caters for drivers and making driving
a hassle-free and enjoyable activites. The content will include the following:
- Professional mechanic to share on common
and complicated car-related problems and solutions to resolve such problem
- Inviting actors and actresses to travel, sharing
with you on good places to visit, as well as wining and dining.
- Topical issues of the week
- Interactive information (e.g road conditions,
common accident points etc..)
- Professional advice from medical experts for
commercial drivers
- Prizes to be won by viewers
If you miss the program on Sunday. You need not
to worry because the program will be repeated on ATV the following Saturday
at noon. We welcome comments and suggestions so that we can make this
program a privilege for our members

Optimising GPS to resolve logistics and fleet management
problems have become a new management trend. In Europe and America, using
GPS for security is a common issue. Over 100,000 vehicles have fitted
such system. In Hong Kong, the available GPS system, its prices and quality

On 22 February 2001, at City University of Hong
Kong, U-DRIVE was invited as guest speaker for the seminar of E-Logistics
Conference. Logistics, a topical issue in modern management philosophy
contributes to the success, efficient and effective channel to shift goods
and services from one place to another. In this seminar, V-Guard, our
star product has proven to be a very popular part of the conference with
a lot of positive feedback. Our next seminar will be on 24 May 2001 at
HKCTL, Tsing Yi, further information will be offered to members in due
course.

On 1st January 2001, General Motors has appointed
Forefront Group, in Hong Kong for the sales, repair and maintenance of
GM's 3 reputable brand of vehicles in Opel, Saab and Cadillac. As appreciation
to all the aforementioned vehicle owners, Forefront Group will launch
a series of upgraded benefits to the vehicle owners and full details will
be announced soon.

After the inclusion of passenger car business, situated
in Ap Lei Chau and Fanling "Ankor" repair centre, to continuously
provide comprehensive repair and maintenance services. The Fanling centre
caters for vehicles 1.9 ton or below can perform test and inspection.
At the same time, we have plans to install 10 more quick service stations,
located in Hong Kong island, Kowloon main commercial centres, to perform
routine inspection, minor repair and maintenance tasks, our objective
is "one convenient to you".
At Causeway Bay, Ming An Centre "Saab"
and "Cadillac" show room and TST, "Opel" show room,
the grand opening will be on Tuesday, 27 March 2001.
The fresh concept show room will combine the latest
technologies, through internet to preview the related car information
or from the computing system to select the preferred colour scheme.

The new card will be re-issued to you in 7 working days after we receive
your notice. If you renew the card at Mobil Service Station, the discount
which you are enjoying will be terminated at once.
Can I change the password of my member
card?
You can change the password at any Mobil Service
Station. Please do not keep the card and password together to avoid abuse!

The Hong Kong Centre for Transport and Logistics
(HKCTL)set up by the Department of Business Administration of the Hong
Kong Institute of Vocational Education (Tsing Yi), under the auspices
of the Vocational Training Council. The mission of the centre is to promote
the study of transportation and logistics, technology transfer and sharing
of good practices.
The Centre is supported by a grant from the Innovation
and Technology Fund of the Industry Department of the Government of the
HKSAR.

to provide industry specific and related information, as well as to form
a network of local and overseas contacts to improve business opportunities.
The Centre publishes bulletin on a quarterly basis to keep abreast of
the latest trends and developments in the industry. It provides a virtual
